We spent 2 years trying to destroy this advanced vacuum cleaner. Literally. I’m part of the « serial testers* » team in our Vernon factory.

We thought of the worst torture-tests to put X-Ô to the test. 2 years spent making it run on some kind of infernal treadmill to ensure his endurance and agility. 2 years spent folding and unfolding X-Ô using a merciless automaton. 2 years spent dropping it to make sure it was rock solid. 2 years spent making it’s life a living hell.

10 years ago I had the idea of designing a ball shaped vacuum cleaner. To many people back then, it was impossible as it was too different. But innovation always comes first. So I didn’t give up.

Now it’s been 3 years since the project came to fruition. 3 years spent making hundreds of sketches and models. 3 years spent testing shapes, materials and colours. 3 years spent fine-tuning every curve for perfect ergonomics.

3 years and thousands of hours spent making, unmaking and starting over. And I am so proud to see X-Ô in stores. I know how much it would enhance daily life.
